A Relaxing Morning of Pampering at Rubislaw Park

Residents at Rubislaw Park Care Home enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing morning of pampering, making the most of the home's sensory room for some well-deserved self-care.
The morning gave residents the chance to slow down, unwind and enjoy a little time being looked after. With soothing music playing in the background, residents were treated to lovely facials and relaxing nail treatments, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
The team also made use of the home's new nail bar and pamper products, which added an extra special touch to the experience. Residents enjoyed choosing their favourite colours and having their nails beautifully finished while chatting and spending time together.

Self-care activities such as these can be a lovely way to support wellbeing, confidence and social connection. They provide residents with an opportunity to relax while also enjoying familiar experiences that can bring back happy memories of visits to salons, getting ready for special occasions or simply taking time for themselves.
The sensory room provided the perfect setting for the morning, allowing everyone to enjoy the treatments in a peaceful environment away from the busier areas of the home. There were plenty of smiles and conversation throughout, with residents thoroughly enjoying their pampering experience.
At Rubislaw Park, wellbeing is an important part of everyday life, with residents encouraged to enjoy activities and experiences that reflect their individual interests and preferences. The home offers a varied programme of activities and entertainment alongside its residential, nursing, dementia and respite care.

It was a lovely morning filled with relaxation, friendship and a little bit of glamour, and the residents were delighted with the results.
