Gayle is Rubislaw Park’s Home Manager having joined the home in 2020. She comes with a wealth of experience in acute and private sector settings.

Rachel, our Clinical Deputy Manager and Matron, won our company’s Nurse of the Year award in 2023 for Scotland. With over 15 plus years of experience, Rachel oversees our home in our manager Gayle’s absence and leads our clinical team. A pillar of our Rubislaw community, Rachel is dedicated, professional, and compassionate. An extremely talented nurse, she always puts everyone at ease and embraces new challenges. Rachel is committed to continuous learning and ensuring that our team adheres to the highest standards of care, making Rubislaw Park a place of excellence.

Ross , our Head Chef, joined our team in 2022 with over 20 years of culinary experience. He oversees our kitchen operations and designs menus tailored to our residents’ preferences. Ross actively engages with residents to accommodate their dietary needs and preferences, always encouraging feedback. Trained in preparing staged food for various abilities aswell as being proficient in fine dining, Ross ensures a diverse and delightful dining experience for all our residents.

Meet Rosie Mullen, the heart and soul of Rubislaw Park and our dedicated Activities Manager. Rosie oversees our activities team, planning and leading diverse daily events to ensure there’s something for everyone. Beyond enriching our residents’ lives, she tirelessly fundraises year-round to foster a true sense of home and prevent boredom. Rosie’s exceptional dedication and love for our community were recognised when she became the overwhelming winner of our first Employee of the Month award in 2022. With over 25 years of experience, Rosie continues to embody our commitment to providing vibrant and engaging experiences at Rubislaw Park.

Susan McLeod is one of our Sisters at Rubislaw Park, specializing in wound care and bloods. She is dedicated to ensuring everyone receives the highest standard of care. Susan fosters excellent relationships with staff and residents alike, making her a valuable addition to our nursing team.

Lidia is a Registered Nurse here at Rubislaw Park as well as a dietician and helps lead and support our residents with specific dietary requirements and weight loss.

Wilma brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team in our Ash Residential unit. Wilma recently won an award for Glad to Care Awareness week and is a great addition to the team.

With over 15 years of experience in dementia care, I lead the Cults and Cove unit with dedication and compassion. My focus is on fostering independence while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both residents and staff. Additionally, I am trained in medication administration to ensure the highest level of care.

As a dedicated leader in our nursing unit, I bring hard work, compassion, and passion to everything I do. In addition to my extensive experience, I am specially trained in medication administration and minor procedures, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Michelle, our Housekeeping manager, oversees a dedicated team at Rubislaw Park, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control. Since joining the Rubislaw team in 2020, Michelle has consistently gone above and beyond, not only maintaining impeccable standards but also acting as our minibus driver for resident outings, ensuring everyone arrives safely. Michelle has a special bond with the residents, taking the time to ensure everyone feels truly at home.

John Green, our Maintenance Manager, joined the Rubislaw family in 2020 and has become an integral part of our team. He ensures all building operations run smoothly, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. In 2024, John designed and built our dementia sensory garden, a beautiful and therapeutic space that has been named in his honour.

Kara joined the Rubislaw Park team in 2019 and initially worked in our hair salon. When COVID-19 restricted beauty appointments, Kara transitioned to the front-of-house role and quickly became the friendly face of our company. As the first point of contact for Rubislaw Park, her warmth and professionalism shine through. Kara also assists with administrative duties and oversees all visitors and staff who enter the building, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone.

Sarah is our newly appointed relative chair and will support the home with relative meetings and relative queries. She will be an asset to our team and is always supportive and available for new families coming into the home

Jenny, our newest sister, joined Rubislaw Park in March 24, with over 21  years of experience, Jenny has seamlessly integrated into our Rubislaw Park family. She brings a wonderful kind spirit that everyone comments on. When on shift, Jenny oversees medication administration, wound care, and care planning, ensuring the highest standards of care. Passionate, professional, and always willing to help, Jenny makes time for residents and staff alike. A true team player, Jenny is an invaluable asset to our team.
