A Trishaw Trip To Hazelhead Park

Residents at Rubislaw Park Care Home in Aberdeen were delighted to welcome Cycling Without Age back for another enjoyable outing, with a few residents heading off to Hazelhead Park to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.

Cycling Without Age provides specially designed trishaw-style bicycles, allowing residents to sit comfortably at the front while a volunteer cycles behind them. The experience gives residents the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of being out on a bike, taking in the sights and spending time outdoors.

During the trip to Hazelhead Park, residents were able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take in the scenery as they travelled through the park. The fresh air and change of scenery provided a lovely opportunity to get out and about while enjoying the company of the Cycling Without Age volunteers.

For residents, outings like this can be a wonderful way to reconnect with the local community and enjoy familiar surroundings from a different perspective. There is also plenty of opportunity for conversation along the way, making the experience as social as it is enjoyable.

It was lovely to see residents enjoying themselves as they took in the sights, chatted with their companions and made the most of their time outdoors. We are always grateful to Cycling Without Age for helping make experiences like this possible.
