Nursing Care
On the first floor of Rubislaw Park, we offer constant 24-hour Nursing Care for our residents. Our nursing care is for those of our residents who perhaps have higher dependency needs, residents who live with more restrictive physical disabilities, or those needing end-of-life care, including palliative care.
By using a method of nursing called “key nursing”, Rubislaw Park assigns one nurse to each resident in order to curate an individual and personal bond. This will ensure that a familiar face is always around to answer any questions you or your loved ones may have.
Dementia Care
At Rubislaw Park, we’ve always got our residents’ best interests at the heart of everything we do. This is why we offer around-the-clock care and support to those with dementia, as well as their families. Our dementia unit has been beautifully decorated to create a safe and pleasant environment, including coloured bedroom doors, name plagues, signage and contrasting colours on walls and floors.
We provide dementia care on the first floor within a dedicated dementia unit, where we offer a wide range of activities and therapies that are designed specifically for our residents living with dementia. Alongside our dementia unit lead and care assistants, we have a nurse on-site who specialises in dementia care, and collectively they provide effective care for a range of needs.
Residential Care
Residential care is available across both floors of Rubislaw Park. This style of care is perfect for individuals who are mostly capable of taking great care of themselves, but every now and then would appreciate just a little extra support from our team. We’ve curated a completely safe and comfortable environment for our residents who just need a boost when it comes to group living.
Respite Care
If you need to take a little break away and need a little time for yourself, Rubislaw Park is the perfect place to stay. Whether you care for a loved one or you’re on the mend from spending some time in hospital, the friendly team at Rubislaw Park are excited to welcome you in.
